This site explains and gives in detail great depth about the heart, blood and things that relate to the Circulatory System. For example is explains what the purpose of blood is and how it works. This is highlighted in "Blood is liquid connective tissue. It transports oxygen from the lungs and delivers it to cells. It picks up carbon dioxide from the cells and brings it to the lungs. It carries nutrients from the digestive system and hormones from the endocrine glands to the cells. It takes heat and waste products away from cells. It protects the body by clotting and by fighting disease through the immune system." Just from that small paragraph i was able to get so much information. I was able to learn:

• Blood is a liquid connective tissue .
• It gives lungs oxygen and then delivers it into cells. 
• It picks up the cells that have carbon dioxide and then brings it to the lungs. 
• That blood carries nutrients from the digestive system and also hormones that are from the endocrine glands to the cells. 
• It also takes heat and waste products from the chest.
• It fights disease through the immune system.  

I was able to gather a lot of information that will help me with this assessment and to learn about the circulatory system.
